As we approach another April 15th, my thoughts turn once again to those young men who sacrificed so much to help save the world from tyranny during World War II.
I am so grateful for those young soldiers and what they did for all of us. Our world would be a much darker place if they had not lived.

Very much agreed, Dan.
ReplyDeleteHi Casey.

I always feel sad at this time of year. On the 15th I try to make time for telephone calls to some of my veteran friends as I know their thoughts are with their companions who died on the 14th and 15th of April. I also try to call Reuben Koski, the only surviving Koski brother. His birthday is April 15th, the same day his brother was killed in action.
